As we honor our Veterans this week, most of us can only imagine what it must have been like to try to sleep the night before the next day brought yet another skirmish, yet another day of injuries and destruction. Every week, we want to honor Jesus Christ, Who fought the perfect battle and invites us to live in His victory. Our sermon theme this weekend is “Final Call”, as we take seriously our Lord’s teachings about what the end times will be like.

"The Spirit...will glorify me." As we heard in the sermon last week, we often introduce ourselves to new people, and the first thing we share is our name. It is important to know people by name. It is nice to be called by name when you are greeted by people. Today in our Gospel lesson, we learn of The Spirit whose role in our lives is "Introducing Jesus." To HIM be the glory!
