At our Annual Meeting this past Monday, we elected 22 new leaders and set our mission goal and budget for this next year. This is a good time to pray for God’s Spirit to fill the hearts and minds of all that lead, as well as those who follow – that we might all follow God’s path with the fullness of joy and the peace that only our Risen Christ can give!

"The Spirit...will glorify me." As we heard in the sermon last week, we often introduce ourselves to new people, and the first thing we share is our name. It is important to know people by name. It is nice to be called by name when you are greeted by people. Today in our Gospel lesson, we learn of The Spirit whose role in our lives is "Introducing Jesus." To HIM be the glory!

Reading and Studying The Bible in 2009 - Saturday, March 28, 2009

ELDERS have set as a goal an emphasis on reading and studying the Bible in 2010. Members are encouraged to bring their Bibles to church and follow along as Scriptures are read. Copies of the Bible reading plans are available in the church entry. We are working through the New Testament in one year. Also our Wednesday night services will be based off of one of the readings for the week. Blessings on your study!
