INVEST IN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION TESTIMONIAL BY JOSHUA BERNDT
How are your investments doing these days? If we are talking about stocks, bonds, homes, and businesses, I’d guess not very well. However, if we are talking about the Christian education and development of our children, I’d say we are right on track to meet our long term goals! I was fortunate and blessed to attend Trinity for 9 yrs from 1984 until I graduated in 1993.
All components of my education were taught in a Christ centered fashion by hard working teachers and pastors with genuine concern and regard for my spiritual and intellectual well-being. This served me very well as I felt prepared to transition to high-school and college with the necessary foundation to succeed. This foundation is a sound faith in Jesus Christ and a discipline developed through academics, athletics, and arts. I believe in the mission of this school and am excited for my daughter and son to have the opportunity to establish their spiritual and academic foundations with TLS. This is the most important investment I, as a parent, can make, and am grateful for the opportunities TLS provides for my children!

HOW GOD WORKS THINGS OUT IN LIFE
I had/have the privilege of not only attending Trinity for my 8th grade year, but also teaching there for the past two years. As a 13yr. old girl I was not happy when my father said we were moving in August of 1990 to Janesville...I had even schemed with a friend to stay in Lewiston with them for my 8th grade year! When I arrived I was terrified of not having any friends and not fitting in at this big, new school. However, once again the Lord knew exactly what He was doing and within the first week of my arrival a classmate of mine invited me over to her house to meet some other girls in our grade...and since that day Jenny Fury has been one of my closest friends. Trinity taught me valuable lessons about sports, friendships, academics, and how to truly grow in my faith with my Lord and Savior. As a current teacher at Trinity, I daily see how committed, dedicated, and experienced our staff members of Trinity are to their school and church. I'm excited to help with our Annual Fund Drive and I hope many of you will take this chance to say "Thank You Trinity!" as well!

TESTIMONIAL BY CHARLIE BORN, TLS CLASS OF 1955
Greetings from one of the older alumni at Trinity. The last time you received a Alumni Newsletter has been some time ago and in hard copy form. Now we have a great group of younger Trinity graduates who are stepping up to reach out to you with new and better ways of communicating. Some are staff at TLS, all are leaders at Trinity and are dedicated Christians who want to share with you what a great advantage we have in life having attended TLS. Because we all have graduated from TLS we also know a great Christian education comes with a cost as well. For as long as I can remember, that cost has been picked up by congregational giving and much of it is still picked up that way. Many expenses have increased greatly and keeping pace with technology requires a constant investment - because of these needs we need to ask you to strongly consider helping your alma mater as well. My hope is that you will please consider helping with a gift directly to TLS or the TLS Christian Education Endowment Fund and if you have a Thrivent "contract", using it as matching funds are available.
Perhaps your work place has a program that would match your gift as well. What ever you are able to do, thank you and may God continue to bless you and your family.
